MADRID, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid coach Mauricio Pellegrini promises on Sunday that his side would put on a show every time it plays at home in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Real Madrid has spent a staggering 250 million euros to sign big name players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso.
Those big name players mean that Real is now favorite along with last season's Champions - FC Barcelona - to lift this season's Primera Liga title.
Nevertheless, given the talent available to him, Pellegrini told sports paper Marca that winning was not enough.
"If 90,000 fans come to see us, then we have to put on a spectacle. This Real Madrid is going to go and look for the ball, whether we play away from the Bernabeu or at home."
"It doesn't matter if we win matches, if I don't enjoy myself, then I will not be satisfied," he said.
Pellegrini added that he didn't see the club making any more signings this summer.
"In my opinion the squad is complete with the people that we have got," he said.
With this season's Champions League final to be played in Madrid, there is a lot of expectation that bug spending Real can lift the trophy in their own ground.
"If I could have one wish, it would be to lift that trophy in front of our fans," confessed the Madrid coach.
