U.S. midfielder Dempsey to stay with Fulham for four more years

LONDON, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey will stay with the English Premier League club for four more years after signing a contract extension on Thursday.

The new deal will keep the United States' player at Fulham until 2013, according to the London club's website.

Dempsey, 26, signed for Fulham in January 2007 and has scored 14 goals in 81 appearances.
