Midfielder Josue sidelined from Brazil side with knee injury

RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Josue on Tuesday said that he has to quit Brazil's squad due to his right knee injury.

This means he will miss the soccer World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Chile next month.

The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed the same day that Josue would have keyhole surgery on the knee in Germany.
