Former Italy midfielder Zanetti joins Fiorentina

ROME, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Former Italy midfielder Cristiano Zanetti joined Fiorentina from Juventus, the Florence side confirmed on Monday.

The midfielder signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year, Fiorentina said on their website.

The 32-year-old spent three seasons at Juventus, but his last season was plagued by a bunch of injuries.
